E. Curtis Carter, SRA, NARA

Mr. Carter has over 25 years of experience in the real estate field as a broker, appraiser, and investor.  He holds the prestigious SRA designation from the Appraisal Institute, the nation's most recognized appraisal organization.  He holds a BBA in Real Estate and Urban Development from the University of Georgia, as well as an Associates in Science from Abraham Baldwin College.  He is a licensed real estate instructor and worked with the UGA Center for Continuing Education to teach real estate courses in the Fall of 2009.

Mr. Carter is an FHA approved appraiser who specializes in commercial and investment properties, consultation, litigation appraisals (resulting from estates, divorces, equity partition, or property disputes, for example), and rights of way.  He is an expert witness for court testimony in Athens-Clarke County and most of the surrounding counties.

Mr. Carter is a charter member of the Athens Area Council of Real Estate Appraisers, having served four times as its President.  He is a member of the Athens Board of Realtors, the Athens Chamber of Commerce, the Women's Council of Realtors, and a member of the Board of Directors for Housing and Economic Leadership Partners (HELP).  His past civic involvement includes: past member of the High Shoals City Council, a past member and Vice-President of the Board for Kelly Workshop, former President of the Athens Jaycees, past District and Region Director for the Georgia Jaycees, and past Commander of the Georgia Jaycee Rebel Corps.

Patti is a lifetime resident of Clarke and Oconee counties, and has been a full time appraiser for nearly ten years.  She holds a BS in Education from the University of Georgia, and is an FHA approved appraiser specializing in residential properties in Clarke, Oconee, Madison, Oglethorpe and Jackson counties.  Her community involvement includes having served on the Athens Area Council on Child Abuse, and was a past member of the Athens Jaycees where she served several terms on the Board of Directors, and chaired the Athens Junior Miss program for several years.

Patti lives in Bishop, Georgia.
